This rescue center, Bellwood was founded along with Maine Coon Rescue 5 years ago. But I have always rescued. I started out rescuing puppy mill dogs the last two years and found it very rewarding. I feel it is the greatest feeling in the world to watch a dog become a pet instead of a breeding machine. We have access to many dogs being released from breeders. There have been many breeders and even pups coming from the breeders.
